Tacoma Endoscopy Center Patient Bill of Rights Print E-mail
At Tacoma Endoscopy Center, you have the right to:

· Be treated with respect, consideration and dignity.

· Be cared for by personnel who are properly trained to perform assigned tasks.

· Confidential management of your patient records and information.

· Participate in discussions involving your health care, and be informed of any responsibilities you may have in the care process (unless contraindicated for medical reasons).

· Be informed of the services offered by our practice and to change physicians if you wish.

· Refuse treatment or services.

· Be informed of our charges and policy concerning billing and payment for services.

· Be informed of any care provided by our practice that has experimental or research aspects, with documentation of voluntary informed consent.

· Be informed of the process for submitting a complaint to both our practice and to the State Department of Health.

· Read, copy, and ask us to amend the record of health services that we provide to you.
