John Greg Carrougher, M.D. |

 Dr. Carrougher was raised in Tacoma. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Washington before completing his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Carrougher performed his residency training at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma followed by a year as chief resident and subsequently a fellowship in gastroenterology at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Following the internship, he served on the teaching staff at Brooke Army Medical Center before returning to Madigan to complete his military obligation.
Dr. Carrougher has a special interest in endoscopic ultrasound and biliary tract disease. He is a major contributor to our Northwest Swallowing Center.
